Job Description:

Orion Eye Center is a regional leader and was the first walk-in surgery center in Central Oregon. Patients receive a world-class experience within a comfortable, convienient walk-in surgery center and clinic. We are looking for a Part Time RN to join our team.

Overall responsibility

• Performs any combination of duties under the direction of a Surgeon and ASC Manager to assist in the treatment of patients.

Key tasks and responsibilities

• Acquire/Enter data into EMR.
• Medical record data entry into EMR to maintain office and patient records.

Skills and attributes

• Interacts well with staff members, physicians and patients.
• Demonstrates listening skills.
• Demonstrates teaching skills.
• Demonstrates skill in operating computers.

• Pre-Operative
• Intra-Operative

Experience requirement

• Current License with the Oregon State Board of Nursing.
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification (or within 60 days of hire)
• Moderate Sedation or Monitoring Experience preferred.
• Position requires patient and physician contact; therefore, individual must exhibit pleasant conduct, can listen, and represent practice standards of high efficiency and decorum.

Physical Demands

• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Must be able to transition from sitting to standing throughout the day.
• Must be able to communicate via the telephone, email, and instant messaging.
• Must be able to view and type computer data.

Job Type: 20+ hours per week- No weekends or evenings. Typical hours are

6:30 am to 3:30 pm, Monday – Thursday.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $37.00 - $43.00 per hour
