Work Schedule: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Summary :

The Registered Nurse-Lead is responsible for exercising independent judgment in directing and supervising the provision of professional nursing care to a designated group of clients in their homes, with accountability if such care is not rendered correctly or appropriately by the nurse or by those whom he/she directs and supervises. The Registered Nurse-Lead assesses, plans, implements, evaluates and exercises independent judgment in coordinating the home care course of treatment and assigning significant overall duties to subordinate personnel. The Registered Nurse-Lead acts as a leader for client care team members in coordinating a holistic plan of care. The Registered Nurse-Lead confers and collaborates with physicians in implementation of the home care treatment plan. The Registered Nurse-Lead uses current nursing research to implement and modify their personal clinical practice. The incumbent mentors other agency Registered Nurses in advancing clinical best practices, as well as advocating and recommending changes to policies and procedures to improve the quality of client care. The Registered Nurse-Lead assists the clinical leadership in clinical in-home supervision, program development and quality review activities as directed. The Registered Nurse-Lead collaborates with, and responsibly directs and supervises, other members of the client care team. Performance reflects the mission and values of Home Care & Hospice.

Other Information :

Current license to drive in the state of Main e, with reliable transportation and agency required auto liability insurance. Must be able to travel within assigned region, or statewide, depending on the position.
