**Experience in Massachusetts Elder Services (ASAP) Home Care Industry is a plus!
**This position is non-clinical and does not involve skilled nursing.
**Some Flexibility in working hours!
Job Responsibilities Include but not limited too;
--Competency Evaluations: Upon hire, or on an as-needed basis, the RN will observe and complete a "competency evaluation" of the newly hired staff to ensure Home Care Aide competency to satisfy the industry requirements.
-- Home Health Aide Orientation: The RN is to visit with the HHA/PCA at patients’ home on the first day of service to perform an introduction of the home health aide/ personal care assistant.
-- Perform supervisory visits with HHA/PCA in the field in regular intervals as scheduled
-- Assist in development and implementation of training programs and perform in-service training for HHA/ PCA
-- Perform and document annual competence reviews of HHA/PCA
-- Communicate with HHA Coordinator and Case Managers
Qualifications:
--Current, valid Massachusetts Registered Nurse License
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
