Job Description:
We are currently seeking a full-time, certified Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP) to join our healthcare team. The ACNP will collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive and compassionate patient care. Our ideal candidate is someone who is passionate about patient care, able to work effectively in high-stress situations, and committed to improving patient health outcomes.
Responsibilities:
Evaluate and manage acute and chronic patient health problems
Order and interpret diagnostic tests and implement therapeutic interventions
Provide patient education and counseling
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
Maintain accurate, detailed reports and patient records
Qualifications:
Current state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in Alabama
Certification as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP)
Minimum of two years of experience in an acute care setting
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Able to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
Current CPR or BLS certification
Demonstrated ability to make sound clinical decisions
