Sodexo is seeking a Per Diem Registered Dietitian for Good Samaritan Medical Center located in Brockton, MA. This position will provide inpatient nutrition care on a variety of units. This is a fast-paced, high-acuity trauma-center facility with an already established career growth ladder for Registered Dietitians looking to progress in their profession. Good Samaritan Medical Center is a growing 240 bed hospital located just 20 miles south of Boston located directly off of route 24.

The successful candidate will:

• Provide nutritional care for a variety of inpatient units;
• Cover areas that include telemetry, oncology, renal, med/surg, critical care, and orthopedics with a full ERAS (Enhanced Recovery after Surgery) program, and bariatrics;
• Work a rotating weekend schedule once every 4-5 weeks and prn
• Thrive off of a fast-paced, high-acuity inpatient environment;
• Be highly involved in quality improvement initiatives within the clinical nutrition department;
• Educate health care team member, including physicians and nurses;
• Work closely w/ the medical team to drive best practice and participate in practice change initiatives;
• Assist with patient satisfaction initiatives to improve patient experience and outcomes

Sodexo is seeking a per diem Registered Dietitian for Good Samaritan Medical Center located in Brockton, MA.

We are able to offer full time hours for the time being to cover a Leave of Absence through August 2023.

Typically, this role would assist with patient coverage during vacations and weekends as needed. Typical weekend rotation would be every 4th - 5th. Holidays would be primarily covered by the full time RDs unless and Per Diem Coverage would be rare but available if desired.

Floor coverage responsibilities include critical care, medical/surgical, orthopedics, oncology, bariatric, renal, and geriatrics. Applicant must have excellent communication skills and be reliable to work independently. Come join our collaborative team of medical professionals to provide the best care for our patients. Assistance in the kitchen is minimal however must be a resource as questions may arise pertaining to diets and patients. GSMC also offers the oppotunity to precept dietetic interns.

The successful candidate will:

• provide nutritional care for a variety on inpatient units;
• educate patients regarding their acute and/or chronic diseases; and
• perform quality improvement initiatives such as patient satisfaction rounds and monthly test trays; and
• assist with Food Service Management Initiatives as needed.
