- ensure the desk has the required tools and information to deliver business objectives;
- identify, triage, and drive the resolution of operational risks for Group Treasury;
- ensure that best practice procedures, controls and process integrity are maintained;
- work closely with Group Treasury Business Heads and Front to Back partners to develop and drive the execution of our business strategy in the Americas;
- provide subject matter expertise and business requirements to Change functions; respond effectively to regulatory and/or mandatory change – working across the firm to do so.

Your team
You will be working in the Group Treasury COO team, ensuring our Asset & Liability Management (ALM), Capital, Liquidity & Funding (L&F) capabilities continue to operate effectively.
ALM manages the structural risk of our balance sheet, including interest rate risk, structural foreign exchange risk and collateral risk, as well as the risks associated with our liquidity and funding portfolios. ALM Americas spans Investment & Execution, Funding Management and Interest Rate Risk in the Banking book desks. The Investment & Execution desk is responsible for the management of the Group’s Liquidity Portfolios, managing Firm collateral as well as running a Repo Flow Trading Desk. Group Treasury is part of Corporate Center.
The Capital team analyses, forecasts & monitors the capital position of the firm. The team will assess the potential impact of dividends, share repurchases and issuance of new capital.
Liquidity & Funding ensure the availability of sufficient liquidity to meet liabilities under both normal and stressed conditions. The team achieves this by modelling liquidity & funding risks using internal & regulatory L&F models.

Your expertise
You have:
You are:
- working knowledge of front office products & processes, accounting principles and business management;
- experience with a comparable operational infrastructure and/or control framework;
- experience in Trading, Risk Management, or associated environments with particular emphasis on Front-to-back processes, Operations and Control functions.
You are:
- familiar with a broad range of Treasury ALM products, processes, and metrics: interest rate risk management, banking book, liquidity & funding management, Money Market products, Repo, Bonds and cleared/OTC derivatives.

Salary information
CA, CO, WA and NY based roles: The salary range for this role is $160,000 to $225,000 based on experience, education, and skill level. This role may be eligible for discretionary incentive compensation. For benefits information: ubs.com/usbenefits.
