- Responsible for all WeCARE operations to include successful implementation of strategic and business plans, company policies and procedures, quality assurance and financial initiatives
- Provides regional leadership for Equus -WeCARE and all its components
- Develops and implements programs and services consistent with Equus’s mission, vision and LEGACY standards in collaboration with Equus-WeCARE leadership
- Accountable for the vision and overall strategies of Equus-WeCARE including, but not limited to, quality of care, delivery system programs and services, customer satisfaction, financial positioning, human performance and development, physician relations and business growth
- Establishes and maintains an environment through which relationships with stakeholders (customers and employees) are actively developed and nurtured for mutual gain
- Oversees the development and implementation of designated area policies and procedures, and assures compliance with organizationally based documentation
- Monitors outcome measures, program outcomes, performance improvement, and utilization review and management; adjusts as needed
- Works to assure compliance with regulatory agencies
- Execution and ongoing monitoring of Equus-WeCARE revenue cycle
- Implementation of the Equus-WeCARE Annual Operating and Capital Budgets
- Implementation of the Equus-WeCARE risk management and compliance program
- Reviews, analyzes, and interprets financial statements for Equus—WeCARE
- Holds department heads accountable for meeting financial plan
- Provides oversight of all aspects of the WeCARE program for assigned Borough
- Hires, manages, and trains key staff in support of program administration and operations
- Serves as the point of contact for HRA related to all contractual, operational, quality, or other related WeCARE issues
- Ensures that Project Directors are driving program performance across all program activities and are on target with program and contractual goals and that all HRA-required reports are prepared, reviewed, verified, and submitted timely
Ensures contract compliance with all provisions, as well as federal, state, and New York City mandates - Serves as liaison with other human service agencies that support WeCARE customers and RWS and its subcontractors
- Develops and maintains relationships with current funding sources, potential funding sources and, if applicable, local and state legislators and political leaders. Maintains awareness of funding source/client requirements and legislation that impacts business operations and liability
- Works with the Vice President to connect the WeCARE project to all Equus and RWS corporate resources
- Attends and serves on professional/civic service organizations as Equus-WeCARE representative
- MHA, MBA, or equivalent degree along with any healthcare licensures are preferred
- Ten years of management in a healthcare, social work, or rehabilitation setting, at least five of which will be as a senior director, chief operating office, or executive director
- Five years’ experience in managing budgets more than $10 million annually
- Five years managing an operation of at least 75 employees
- Familiarity with SSI/SSDI Listings of Impairments, Evaluation Criteria and application process
- Experience developing and managing subcontract agreements and relationships
- Experience in managing programs funded by and working with governmental agencies
- Experience in using comprehensive data systems to manage programmatic operations and performance
- Experience with the TANF program and populations preferred
