Job Summary:
Our Provider Network Relations Manager will be responsible for providing a variety of network (both local and wide-area, relations, management and communication functions, making extensive use of Virsys 12 (Salesforce) and other technology as it applies to learning and administration via wide-area provider relationship management and other provider network functions.
What to expect in your role:
- Provide education and training Town Halls, in-person, via ZOOM and via telephone to providers in developing networks.
- Initiate and maintain effective channels of communication with providers, internal and external customers.
- Participate in the development of training materials, policies, and standard operating procedures.
- Act as SME on portal functionality, Provider Operations Manual, and common provider issue resolution needs.
- Manage data accuracy within Versys 12 Salesforce system for providers within a given network.
- Meet expectations for KPI measurements.
- Have a demonstrated understanding of the relationships between Health plans, Providers, and Referral sources in local, regional, and national markets.
- Build relationships with current and prospective clients.
- Maintain effective time management, provide excellent customer service, and support onehome culture.
- Ongoing product/service knowledge.
- May assist with pre-arranged meetings and “cold calling” efforts.
- Communicate with Corporate, National, and Local network providers at all levels within their organization, when applicable.
- Work in a team environment to ensure support of others based on workloads, knowledge/expertise, and previous experience.
- Convey a strong professional image, exhibit interest and positive attitude toward all assigned work.
- Ensure strict standards for claimant/client confidentiality and comply with organizational and governmental regulations/policies.
- Travel up to 40%.
What you need to succeed:
- Must live within the state of North Carolina or Virginia.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field strongly desired
- Three years Healthcare provider network experience with emphasis on provider issue resolution, contract issue resolution and assistance with provider understanding of such contracts, claims filing protocols, portal functionality, and network operations.
- Ability to build strong and effective relationships and maintain accounts in a professional manner.
- 3 years data management experience.
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in claims, UM and quality as they relate to provider issue resolution and understanding.
- Experience using Salesforce or other provider data management software strongly desired
- At least 3 years’ experience with Windows Microsoft Office products.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
