Recruiting Specialist Summary:
The Recruiting Specialist is responsible for the full lifecycle recruiting of both exempt and non-exempt positions and will assist in select administrative and skilled hourly positions companywide, while maintaining excellent relationships with the hiring managers, candidates, and the community at large. This position is responsible for employing traditional sourcing methods and resources. This role will also serve as a key member in developing new strategies to remain competitive in the changing recruiting environment.

Recruiting Specialist Responsibilities:
- Communicating with hiring managers and HR Generalists to ensure job requisitions accurately meet the need of the location.
- Verifying information on a requisition, then publishing the new opportunity in a timely manner.
- Maintain relationship with locations to ensure consistent communication on current state of openings.
- College job boards.
- Utilize modern methods for sourcing qualified candidates both digitally and in-person.
- Screening applicants in accordance with OFCCP guidelines.
- Scheduling interviews between candidates and supervisors.
- Maintaining accurate dispositions for candidates to support the recruiting performance measurables.
- Following up on references for candidates receiving a job offer.
- Maintaining communication with all applicants to provide a great customer experience.
- Attending on-site job fairs to support HSM recruiting efforts.
- Staying informed of trends and innovated recruiting techniques to be competitive in state-of-the-art recruiting practices.
- Visit HSM facilities to gain a better understanding of their processes and needs.
- Build relationships with local schools and community colleges to strengthen outreach programs
- Performs any other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Recruiting Specialist Qualifications:
- BS degree in Human Resources or related fields or three to five years of professional level recruiting experience for exempt-salaried employees
- One year of experience within the executive search industry is preferred
- Working knowledge of social media and web recruiting techniques to drive talent pipelines
- Proven track record of recruiting success across multiple states
- Human resources generalist experience is a plus
- Certified Recruiting Professional (CRP) is a plus
- Must be able to travel for recruiting on college campuses, military bases, and at job fairs
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office and in-depth knowledge of internet research
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to pick up the phone and make cold calls in search of talent.
- Believe in working with a sense of controlled urgency.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Flexibility and ability to overcome rejection
- Good presentation skills
Location/Travel:
- Hybrid: Minimum of 2 days @ Corporate Office/month
- Travel to 2 company locations per Quarter
