A successful person in this role will have the ability to build and develop strong recruitment strategies across a variety of roles in the organization, will be able to drive quality results at a quick pace using creativity and innovation, and will use data to inform the leadership team of progress and to direct work and effort.

The Recruiting Manager, Office Team, under the supervision of the Senior Manager of Talent Acquisition, is responsible for delivering a world-class experience for all those involved in our recruiting process. This person will own Office Team recruiting for Modern Animal. This position interacts directly with our C-level and VP teams. This is a highly impactful and visible role in the organization.

What you'll be working on:

  • Ensuring the team and organization are delivering world-class candidate experiences but owning and executing on full-cycle recruiting and candidate management
  • Responsible for the overall strategy, resourcing, and deployment resources for corporate roles across the organization, on time or ahead of schedule
  • Will manage any vendors including external recruiting agencies and partners
  • Utilizing data to notify and inform the leadership team of trends in the industry and provide feedback and insights into how to best position Modern Animal to win
  • Will take data and insights and turn them into actionable strategies to attract talent
  • Will prepare reports quarterly, annually and ad-hoc for various stakeholders
  • Being the point person for Office Team recruiting which includes handling any escalations
  • Partnering cross functionally with teams including, but not limited to, Executive Leadership, Integrated Marketing, Real Estate & Development, Operations and Finance, to meet organization's goals and metrics
  • Ensures the talent team is using and leveraging tools (i.e. Greenhouse, Gem, Prelude, etc.) effectively and to proactively identify new tools or systems to improve workflows
  • Develop and execute on future projects to create world-class experiences for candidates who engage with Modern Animal
  • Will own the various channels that we use for corporate recruiting which includes but is not limited to Hired.com, Builtin, Valence and Otta
  • Partner with our Integrated Marketing team when needed to add to our candidate interviewing experience and for top of funnel engagement with prospective candidates
  • Attend events including career fairs, conference and company sponsored events that are geared toward attracting talent
  • Provide feedback and make recommendations for any adjustment to our current interview processes that will allow us to continue providing a best in class candidate experience

Why you'd be a great fit:

  • 2+ years of leadership experience, a plus if in a high-growth organization
  • 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience
  • Deep understanding of key recruiting metrics and able to identify trends
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Technically savvy with recruiting systems and tools
  • Experience managing relationship with recruiting agencies

This can be a fully remote position for any candidates living outside of Greater Los Angeles (LA). There is a high preference for this individual to, at minimum, be based in the west coast. If you're based in Greater LA, we have our corporate office in Culver City, CA where you can choose to work full-time in the office or you can work a hybrid schedule. There will be occasional travel required for events including but not limited to; corporate events, site visits, conferences or team off-sites.
