RPM Staffing is seeking an HR Generalist/Recruiter in Denton, Texas!
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3+ years of solid recruiting experience in a fast-paced working environment.
Requirements Include:
- Assists with recruiting and facilitating the hiring of top-caliber job applicants for open positions; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
- Maintain accurate recruiting records for compliance purposes; assists in preparing reports related to EEO and AAP compliance, or other HR functions.
- Conduct or obtain pre-employment assessments, background checks, drug tests, and employee eligibility verifications; handles all Employment Authorization documentation and notifications.
- Facilitate and assist with the completion of new hire onboarding paperwork and training that drives retention and employee engagement from day one.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Basic knowledge and understanding of human resource principles, concepts, and procedures, including federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Ability to speak, read, and write the English language.
- Good verbal and written communication skills, including active listening skills, with potential candidates, employees, and others across various organizational functions.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, customers, and employees.
- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, diplomacy, and confidentiality.
- Good organizational and time management skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite – Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
