Your Responsibilities


As a member of the Talent Acquisition team, the Recruiter, Engineering will be responsible for recruiting and staffing activities related to the successful identification, selection and hiring of talent into John Deere, working to strengthen the organization’s internal capabilities and ensure it has the talent to meet current and future business needs. Manufacturing Engineering and Operations will be the primary focus for this recruiter.

  • Support full life cycle recruitment activities for designated positions.

  • Build the talent pipeline to have the right capability for driving current and anticipated needs.

  • Provide management with guidance on market intelligence, consistently benchmarking for best practices and techniques as it relates to talent.

  • Serve as a consultative partner to hiring managers to develop and execute sourcing and recruiting strategies to attract a diverse slate of talent.

  • Continually reviews recruiting process for effectiveness and ROI, providing feedback as necessary.

  • Actively assist with the management of Applicant Tracking System (ATS) documentation and details throughout the process for compliance and reporting.

  • Assist in project management on new initiatives to create best in class talent acquisition organization.

  • Take accountability for ensuring high levels of engagement on the team.

  • Foster a respectful and inclusive culture in which people with diverse perspectives and backgrounds are valued.

What Skills You Need

  • 5 or more years of experience in full life cycle recruiting with an emphasis on Manufacturing Engineering
  • Highly motivated, energetic, and able to work in a fast-paced multi-functional environment
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of Human Resources practices, procedures, principles, and strategies
  • Ability to travel up to 25%

What Makes You Stand Out

  • Experience in ATS utilization, such as Success Factors
  • Experience in a corporate and/or manufacturing environment

Education


Ideally, you will have a bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent related work experience.
