ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
JJ Bergen & Associates is seeking a recruitment associate to work in their New York office. This is an opportunity to work closely with market leaders in the financial services industry.
Associates are essential members of the team at JJ Bergen. Day to day, associates are primarily focused on research and execution. Specific tasks will vary per search, but will likely include the development of strategy, creating target lists of companies and candidates, organizing internal and external research resources, contacting potential candidates, drafting position specifications, conducting candidate interviews, updating progress reports, and verifying candidate qualifications and references.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors degree (minimum) from top undergraduate program. Experience in search or consulting/professional services, or research at a client focused firm preferred.
Excellent technical and analytical skills coupled with strong written and communication ability. Outgoing personality who enjoys social interaction, this person will spend considerable amount of time on the phone.
High-achiever driven to exceed expectations, with the highest personal standards in regards to integrity and confidentiality. Bright, credible ‘quick thinker’ who can easily hold his/her own in amongst senior professionals. A collegial person who operates transparently to get the job done.
