POSITION SUMMARY
Under the direction of the department supervisors, processes new receipts via PCMS (Product Central Management System) WMS MOVE (HSN)
Responsibilities
Unloads trucks and palletizes freight at the receiving dock.
Sorts Inbound shipments by courier and document ID.
Review paperwork against physical items received to verify all items are present.
Remove product from original packaging, then hangs, bags, labels and boxes the product according to commodity. Put-away all totes and hanging garments that are housed in the walkable storage areas.
HSN Specific – all samples are put away by the Receiving Clerks
HSN: Sorts excess sample receipts for shipment back to fulfillment.
Partner with Outbound teams to expedite items.
Uses company specific applications to identify shipping warehouses, determine shipping document and/or troubleshoots shipments for unidentified or wrong items as they are received into Product Central. Alerts leader of any discrepancies.
Utilizing the product matrix, identify discrepancies, reporting and partnering with the IC team to mend.
Systematically receives Purchase Orders and Warehouse transfers within the company specific WMS Systems, generates bar code labels and selects appropriate container type for storage.
HSN: Systemically & Physically performs Item Number changes for Drop Ship samples.
Partners with IC team when out of certain storage locations to expedite location generation for put-away.
HSN: Contacts Merchant Team when needing item #'s and descriptions.
HSN: Contacts Merch/Finance for PO creation.
Tests electronic equipment for proper operations and inserts batteries, etc. as needed.
HSN Specific: assembles samples.
Monitor and alert supervisor regarding supplies needed to process and prep receipts.
OTHER Responsibilities
- Perform other related activities as assigned.
AUTHORITY
Clerks decide which type of container a product are stored in (i.e.: tote, box or plastic). Discrepancies are to be brought to management's attention.
SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE
Knowledge of automated systems and assemble products.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent combination of training and experience.
Experience: 1+ years related warehouse experience; basic knowledge of computer systems.
JOB REQUIREMENTS (As required by the ADA)
Ability to lift cartons/totes/product weighing up to 50 lbs or with assistance for over 50 lbs. Operate warehouse equipment such as stock pickers, Work Savers and pallet jacks. Operate elevated machinery Ability to operate standard office equipment such as computers, fax machines, photocopiers, etc. Access and enter information using an automated system.. Stand for entirety of shift.
Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm
Pay: $15 per hour
