Job Title: Receiving Associate/Floater

Reporting Relationship: Production Supervisor

Work Schedule: 8:30am to 5:30pm

Summary of duties and responsibilities: The Receiving Associate/Floater will work in the receiving shipments department inspecting all products for quality and quantity and ensuring proper placement in warehouse. As a Floater this position will work in over capacity areas when need in production and ensure that all equipment and labor is done in a quality manner, insuring that all orders are produced as requested.

Equipment Used: Forklift, Forklift Wave, Shipping Computer, Routing Engravers, Hand Engravers, Laser Engravers, Sandblasting Unit, Direct Print Unit, Spin Casters, Buffers, Sanders, Drills, Saws, Adhesives, hand craftmanship

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of work related experience
  • Basic computer skills
  • Creative/Artistic ability
  • Experienced in Corel Draw
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Attention to close detail and the ability to recognize flaws or defects
  • Knowledge of measurements and how to properly use a ruler
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Since of urgency
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and demanding department
  • Ability to work on your feet for up to 8 hours
  • Confident in abilities, quick learner, inquisitive, and flexible
  • Responsibilities:
  • Inspect product for quality
  • Inspect product quantity
  • Receive quanities in Levy's ERP system
  • Ensure product is properly put away in warehouse
  • Ensure product is receiving in a timely manner
  • Communicate any issues with product being received and keep record of issue in ERP system
  • Perform daily/weekly cycle counts
  • Work according to a production schedule
  • Learn all aspects of each piece of equipment within the department
  • Verify counts and artwork
  • Loading and unloading of equipment
  • Setup and produce models for medals and medallions
  • Create molds
  • Spin cast medals and medallions using casting machine
  • Buffing, grinding and finishing
  • Electroplating
  • Woodworking
  • Trophy building
  • Cross Training in all areas of Production
  • Receiving
  • Assembly Prep
  • Assembly
  • Completing maintenance on all equipment
  • Make suggestions to improve production environment
  • Keep work areas neat
  • Maintain safe work environment
  • Performs other related duties and assignments as required
