Eklego is seeking dedicated and compassionate Resident Care Aide to join a team of nursing professionals working in a direct-hire position at one of our Senior Care clients in Boyertown, PA.

Currently we are looking for a Resident Care Aide that can work part time or full-time 2nd shift, alternating weekends and alternating holidays.

Eklego Workforce Solutions is seeking Resident Care Aide to work with .

• Current Part-Time/Full-time openings for 2nd shift.
• The Resident Care Aide fosters independence and promotes socialization for each of our residents and assists with activities of daily living and housekeeping duties as indicated by the Resident's Individual Service Plan.

Requirements

• High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Experience with caregiving is preferred but not required.
• Experience with dementia care preferred but not required. Training is provided.
• Able to understand and carry out directions and instructions and maintain simple records.
• A passion for helping Seniors

The Resident Care Aide has the following responsibilities:

• Assists residents with Activities of Daily Living at all levels including Assisted, Enhanced, and Special Needs Levels of Care.
• Prepares and maintain documentation/records of services performed.
• Performs light housekeeping duties: trash removal, laundry, bed making, etc.
• Consults/reports to nurse supervisor Resident's needs and any changes in Resident's status.
• Attends and participates in any mandatory meetings, in-services and additional training.
• Assists the LPN Supervisor, Shift Supervisor, Nurse Manager, and/or Director in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, and evaluating resident care services, in accordance with the current rules, regulations and guidelines that govern the Community.
• Participates in and receives the shift report upon reporting for duty.
• Weigh and measures residents as instructed.
• Assists with dining service during mealtime
