Role Purpose

Performs advanced levels of preventive maintenance, performance assurance inspections, installation, testing, calibration, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of one or more categories of radiation therapy systems.

Responsibilities

• Performs calibrations, assurance inspections, and scheduled maintenance under general supervision on a variety of equipment.
• Performs unscheduled and emergency repairs on a variety of equipment under general supervision.
• Assists in performing acceptance inspections on new equipment.
• Ensures accurate documentation and communication of all procedures, calibrations and repairs performed.
• BJC has determined this is a safety-sensitive position. The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is an essential function of this job.

Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2-5 years of experience

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred Requirements

• Associate's Degree-Engineering/related
• 5-10 years of experience
• < 2 years of supervisor experience
• Certified Radiology Equipment Specialist (CRES)
