Works under the supervision of the Radiology Supervisor. Performs general radiographic studies to establish QA criteria. Processes and organizes images completes required documentation and modification. Responsible for patient safety and well-being during examinations. Assists and instructs patients during examinations. Performs bedside radiography. Assists with clerical duties. Reports all equipment malfunctions. Cleans and inspects equipment prior to use.
PRIMARY JOB DUTIES
- Performs radiographic examinations in accordance with established protocols.
- Assists and instructs patients prior to and during examinations.
- Responsible for evaluating each study to ensure it meets required quality standards.
- Responsible for patient safety and well-being during examinations.
- Responsible for inspecting and cleaning equipment prior to use.
- Reports to radiology supervisor equipment failures and/or malfunctions.
- Reports all patient complaints, discrepancies, and drug reactions according to QA policies.
- and completing exams per established protocols.
- Works in other areas of the department such as the front office, assisting in the transfer and transport of patients, etc.
- Organizational standards for the Joint Commission, Patient Safety, and the Department of Health will be met or exceeded
- Takes calls or stands by when required
Education: Graduate of an AMA-approved radiology course.
2. Licensure/Certification: California Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT), must have CA Fluoroscopic Permit within 12 months of hire, AHA or equivalent BLS Certification required.
3. Experience: One or more years of experience in general radiology.
4. Skills: Basic clerical and computer experience.

Compensation:
Hourly Salary Range Min: 47.37 $- Max 75.52 (Offered hourly rate based on years of experience)
