Genesis Medical Group is a multi-specialty practice that strives to provide the best possible care to all patients in a caring and compassionate environment. Genesis is seeking an experienced, Radiation Oncologist to work in our busy medical practice. They will be responsible for monitoring the patient and organizing imaging and other tests, in order to create and execute a management plan for our patients. They will work with other medical specialists, as part of a team caring for our patients with cancer. They will also work closely with our radiation therapists to plan and deliver radiotherapy. This physician will be responsible for providing complete, comprehensive clinical care for our patients including but not limited to diagnosis, treatment, and coordination of care, preventative and health care maintenance . Will work collaboratively with all of our providers as a multi-disciplinary team to provide comprehensive, compassionate health care to our patients.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Diagnose and develop treatment plans with the patient. Management of all acute and chronic illnesses

Provide health education and counseling and establish preventative health practices

Initiate laboratory, radiology, and pathology exams and specialty consults as necessary.

Implement clinical policies with other members of our management team

Responsible for supervision of assigned or other advanced practice providers including physician assistants and nurse practitioners

Maintain a current Texas Medical License and all other licenses needed to provide care in the medical practice.

Provide case management with other healthcare team members

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Medical Degree

Active Doctorate of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy (MD or DO) license in Texas as required

Board Certification

Active DEA license

BLS and ACLS certification

Ability to work collaboratively with a clinical team

Demonstrate professional competence and integrity and ethical conduct of practice

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and effective conflict resolution skills

Patient focused and committed to providing outstanding and compassionate care and service to all patients
