A Brief Overview
The Quality Technical Associate is accountable for maintaining quality and control of post-market performance of medical devices. Key duties include performing hands-on technical root cause investigations, utilizing risk-based decisions, and resolving and documenting customer complaint investigations.

Major Responsibilities

• Performs hands-on troubleshooting of customer returned devices and completes associated sample investigation logs including uploading investigation results into the complaint handling system
• Maintain calibration and preventative maintenance for lab equipment in accordance to approved procedures.
• Perform visual inspection, proper disposition, and archival of incoming customer complaint samples from multiple countries/jurisdictions around the world.
• Receives and processes customer returned material for investigation. Maintains traceability for all samples received into quality lab from intake to final disposition.
• Checking for complaint accuracy and content, correct information to process the complaint
• Review of complaint prior to closure for accuracy and appropriateness of the letter content as well as follow up acknowledgement notice, if required.
• Collaborate with complaint intake team to review/evaluate returned complaint samples and help determine root cause and appropriate corrective actions.
• Provide training to personnel involved in overall complaint process as directed by management.
