Summary/Objective:
The Quality Engineer will establish controls for the beam line and collect data for analysis. All data will be housed in the Sepasoft SPC software. The person will set up analysis functions for trends etc. and establish alarms/ notifications. This role will also lead improvement teams and adjust measurement methods/ sampling based on process performance.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Become familiar with the operation of the entire line, all 11 OPs.
- Understand process and product metrics.
- Set up metrics in Sepasoft.
- Set up and maintain tracking for trends in process performance.
- Lead improvement teams.
- Refine metrics based on process performance.
- Support other functions with data collection.
Working Conditions:
- Primarily working indoors, office environment and manufacturing shop floor.
- May sit for several hours at a time.
- Prolonged exposure to computer screens.
- Repetitive use of hands to operate computers, printers, and copiers.
- Interaction/work on production floor hardware and HMI devices.
- High School/GED required.
- Industrial/ mechanical/ electrical Engineering degree desired.
- 2+ years of directly applicable experience in Quality.
- 2+ years of experience with Ignition and/or Sepasoft SPC module.

Supervisory Responsibility:
This role does not have any supervisory responsibility upon hiring.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member will be required to talk and hear. This position may require standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing. The Team Member may have to lift and/or move items over 35 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time salary position, and hours/days of work are decided by production schedules and your reporting manager.
Travel:
Travel will be minimal and would be primarily local during the business day.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Prefer BS-Engineering with 2-3 years manufacturing experience.
- ASQ certification desired.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications:
English language is preferred for communication with other team members and internal/external resources.
Work Authorization/Security Clearance:
Must be able to pass EVerify.
