Quality Lab Operator - 2nd shift

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OR SUMMARY:

Quality Lab Operator performs variety of test on the raw materials.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Collect and prepare glass and other raw materials samples for testing.
• Performing variety of tests to assess raw materials and product quality,
• Completing electronic reports based on the paper charts,
• Communicate atypical results to managers, engineers, and analysts.

QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATIONAL SKILLS and EXPERIENCE:

• High School diploma required; additional education is a plus,
• Prior experience in quality assurance and similar tasks,
• A keen eye for detail and a results-driven approach,
• Very good organizational skills,
• Proficiency in MS Office (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) with the ability to quickly learn new systems,
• Work well in the teamwork environment.
• Good analytical and problem‐solving skills.
