The Quality Control Inspector shall be responsible for auditing the product produced on his/her shift while maintaining the records showing that the minimum quality standards were met. He/she will also perform tests and issue reports as directed by his/her Supervisor.

Rotating schedule. 12 Hours shift. Second shift available. Second shift includes a 10% differential. 7:00 pm - 7:00 am

Essential job functions:

• Maintains quality standards by approving incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products
• Assuring product conforms to consistent standards and meets minimum standards of quality
• Approve material based on sample observations
• Approve fabrication of product confirms to work orders
• Compile data and create reports for review
• Maintain consistent knowledge of the extrusion process and a thorough understanding of the quality requirements of the product we produce

Qualifications:

• Basic understanding of manufacturing process
• Use a tape measure, digital calipers as well as other test machines
• Computer literate (Preferred)
• Self-motivated, organized, detailed, excellent written and oral communication
• Bi-lingual a plus
• Available to work all shifts (Preferred)

Physical demands & work environment:

• Safety glasses, earplugs, and safety shoes are ‘Required’ in all facilities
• The employee must have the ability to be on one’s feet and walk the majority of the day
• The employee will be working indoors the majority of the time and outdoors occasionally
• The workplace environment will feature both hot and cold temperatures
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. occasionally
