Duties/Responsibilities:
- Must be successful in working in a team environment
- Must be able to maintain production and meet all quotas in a fast paced environment
- Must be able to rotate to every task in work area and every labor task in production departments
- Ensure pallet contents equal electronic pallet contents before leaving area
- Ensure pallets are stacked, wrapped and/or banded to standards for secure storage and shipment
- Report picking discrepancies to team lead and supervisor
- Report banding/wrapping discrepancies to team lead and supervisor
- Resolve employee issues through problem resolution
- Ensures company safety and employee relations policy and procedures are followed
- Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition
- Performing other duties as assigned.
Required Experience and Education:
- High School diploma or equivalent is typically required.
- Experience with inventory management software and equipment such as hand-held scanners and forklifts is usually preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy is important for this role.
- Good organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills are also necessary.
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be able to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Able to handle multi-tasking and able to adapt to changing priorities.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds and move heavy boxes and other materials.
