We are currently seeking qualified candidates to fill the role of a Quality Auditor for our computer repair operations.

Role and Responsibilities

• Performs internal quality assurance audits throughout production floor
• Keeps accurate records of audits
• Responsible for collecting, understanding and analyzing data from various sources including the use of statistical software to provide reports that indicate significant changes, root causes for failures, corrective actions, and forecasting.
• Issues Corrective Actions Reports (CARs) for production staff, processes and procedures or training
• Provides tracking of CARs closure reporting
• Performs visual process and/or safety inspections daily
• Heavy focus on sampling
• Performs visual mechanical inspections on various production lines
• Inspects units, components and subcomponents prior to shipment to determine suitability for shipment and to generate quality data
• Performs general inspection and maintenance of audit records
• Maintains CARs system database
• Completes ADHOC reporting as needed
• May provide supervision to other staff in group
• Presents data and findings directly to customer.
• Partner with Quality Engineers to analyze data and trends
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor

Skills, Education and Training

• 3 plus years of related experience in electronics environment
• Associates degree in related field, BS Degree preferred
• Must possess strong analytical, problem solving and data gathering skills
• Familiarity working with a Quality Management System system as part of ISO standards
• Familiar with ISO 9001 standards
• Prefer familiarity with laptops, components and subcomponents (working technical knowledge)
• Communication, presentation and social skills in order to deal with a variety of different personnel internally and externally
• Skills and knowledge in statistical analysis of data
• Extensive skills in Microsoft Excel and Office and statistical software (JMP, MiniTab). Knowledge of PowerPoint/Keynote, Word/Pages
• Certified as a Quality Auditor or lead Quality Auditor (highly desirable but not required)
• Must be able to work independently with little or no regular supervision
