POSITION SUMMARY:

The Quality Assurance Technician will be team member responsible for ensuring the day to day activities at Biocogent adhere to cGMP and Biocogent’s quality standards.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Reviews in process documentation for compliance with Biocogent requirements, including batch records, cleaning logs and equipment status verification cards.
• Oversee the manufacturing facility regarding GMP.
• Inspects and samples incoming raw materials, process equipment and samples such materials according to established methods as required.
• Reviews completed documentation such as batch records, raw material inspection reports and trending documentation to determine final status.
• Assists in investigations of customer complaints or non conforming materials as required.
• Reviews and approves finished product shipments prior to loading.
• Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 1-3 years of experience in Quality Assurance of production in Cosmetics or Pharmaceuticals environment.
• Good understanding of chemical/physical safety and PPE requirements.
• Ability to understand technical information.
• Ability to work with computers and data base system.
• Ability to present data and report in front of small size groups.
• Ability to communicate effectively with management and team members and adequately with people of all levels.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
