Responsibilities and Duties

• Enter data into databases
• Follow SOPs and other applicable laboratory or company procedures
• Maintain confidential information
• Conducts audits of designated studies and facilities to assess compliance with protocols, SOPs, and relevant state, national, and/or international regulations. Audits may include direct observation of study conduct and/or laboratory processes, study data and reports, or audit of facility records and standard operating procedures.
• Prepares an audit report after each audit; recommends corrective actions to deficiencies as needed.
• Assist with audits and inspections conducted by sponsors and regulatory agencies as related to auditing activities.
• Maintains active QA files.
• Train other employees as requested.
• Provide guidance on documentation requirements as requested.
• Interact with the community and employees
• Support and participate in other company initiatives as directed by senior management
• Perform other duties as assigned

Position Requirements

Education and experience

• Bachelor's Degree in science or related field with 1 year pharmaceutical auditing experience, or
• At least 2 years of pharmaceutical laboratory experience.
• Equivalent combination of related education and required work experience will be considered.

Skills and abilities

• Know and understand applicable national and state regulations, with the ability to apply these practices daily
• Working knowledge of and ability to adhere HIPAA regulations
