The QualCare Director provides patient care to NaphCare Arizona, LLC. facilities across the State of Arizona. Additionally, the QualCare Director leads and supervises a team of QualCare providers that are also responsible for patient care in the State of Arizona.


Responsibilities:

  • Participate in a collaborative approach of patient management to provide the resolutions of diagnostic and therapeutic problems and the implementation of effective solutions.
  • Build productive working relationships with supervisors, security staff, healthcare staff, patients, vendors and clients. Establish and maintain professional relationships where you will be viewed by others as trusted and respectful.
  • Review charts for accuracy and to ensure contractual obligations are met.
  • This position will provide Telemedicine and travel to facilities across the United States as needed.
  • Follow all internal policies and procedures; be accountable for completion of all operational tasks according to departmental guidelines to ensure appropriate clinical processing/documentation.
  • Advise administration of any issues that may impact the practice.
  • Lead, manage and train the team of QualCare Providers.

Requirements:

  • Current unrestricted license as a Nurse Practitioner
  • Current DEA registration
  • Valid CPR certification
  • Certified in a Board recognized by the American Board of Medical Specialties
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in primary care with correctional healthcare preferred
  • Minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience.
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Organized and detail-oriented.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail and decision-making skills essential.

Physical Demands:

  • Must have the physical and mental capacity to:

o Walk on feet approximately 8 hours per day

o Sit for 2-4 hours per day

o Lift up to 25 pounds

o Assist patients in standing, laying, walking and/or sitting

o Frequently bend, stoop, reach and push/pull

o Work in varying degrees of temperature (A/C)

o Work under extreme pressure · Manage difficult patients in a professional manner
