NW Employment is partnered with a local produce company in Salem, Or and we are looking to add QA Supervisor to join our team!

Primary Supervisor Responsibilities

1. Routine supervision/review of the complete work-cycle all Quality Assurance Technician staff, monitoring the complete work-cycle, of ALL production/processing auditing processes. This includes all quality “grading”/auditing, blancher control documentation, enzyme checks and sauce/soup processes when in operation.

2. Routine Food Safety/Sanitation documented inspections of production lines at any time of the operation – pre, during/operational or post.

3. Daily visual documented review of all HACCP monitoring activity.

4. Routine operational review of all quality/food safety audit documentation and daily end of shift documented review and sign-off off all food safety/quality documents in Microsoft Dynamics 365
Business Central (NAV).

5. Daily documentation of Food Safety/Quality key issues for plant management daily review.

Training new Quality Assurance Technician staff and documenting training progress along with Quality
Assurance Technician Leads (if/when present).

6. Retraining and communicating new information to existing, including full trained, Quality Assurance
Technicians.

7. Daily set up and adjusting of the Quality Assurance Technician Crew Schedule, including routine sign-off of crew RTO/Vacation requests.

8. Document and place product on Quality Hold if/when needed, review and/or remove holds if/when needed.

9. Call product back (verbal, phone or email) from the warehouse or outside storage if/when required.

10. Responsible for the documentation, organization and delivery of routine samples to their destination
– micro samples to the micro lab and buyer/retention/special samples to the Quality Storage
Location in the main freezer.

11. Fresh Pack Processing - Posting of all blancher temperatures and end of day review and sign-off of recording charts.
