Summary Description: The Hilton Denver Inverness Hotel is seeking a Purchasing Agent responsible for maintaining proper inventory levels of food and supplies, calculating figures for inventory and orders, completing requisition forms, and notifying the supervisor of low levels and damaged/incorrect items. This position will ensure adherence to all food safety standards

Responsibilities:

  • Calculate figures for food inventory, orders, and costs
  • Maintain clear and organized records and filing systems
  • Complete requisition forms and notify supervisor of low levels
  • Verify and track received inventory and complete inventory reports and logs
  • Reconcile shipping invoices and receiving reports
  • Receive, unload, and process deliveries
  • Troubleshoot vendor delivery issues
  • Adhere to all food safety and handling policies and procedures
  • Monitor PAR levels for all food items

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in purchasing
  • Knowledge of food and beverage industry including inventory control and purchasing systems Similar

Pay Range: $17.50-$18.50 Based on Experience
