SUMMARY: Responsible for operating Punch Out machines. Pushing out HangTags from cut sheets station that has gone through Mounting and Die Cut.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The following reflects management’s definition of essential functions for this job but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned. Management may assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time due to reasonable accommodation or other reasons.

• Select and process jobs based on due dates and priority orders after Die Cut.
• Set up machine to punch out tickets with correct layout.
• Place the tickets back to correct position and ensure that tickets are thoroughly cut and is up to standard.
• Continue with all stacks until the order is complete.
• Minor maintenance can be done, but operator must follow safety standards.
• Report all machine issues to supervisor.
• Clean area before shift ends by dusting all machines and sweeping the floor surroundings.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences.
• Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume and distance.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.

• Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
