PT Maintenance Tech Job at Girl Scouts Hornets Nest Council
Responsibilities
- The part time position (20-30 hours per week) works at the local Charlotte council office at 7007 Idlewild Road and is responsible for general repairs and maintenance, interior painting, and grounds-keeping
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must have a valid state driver's license
- Belief in the purpose and value of the Girl Scouting movement, and hold current membership with Girl Scouts of the USA or willing to become a member
- Have good character, integrity, adaptability, patience, sense of humor, and enthusiasm
- Any physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job
- Prolonged standing, bending, stooping, walking long distances, hiking, climbing, working outdoors, and stretching
- Heavy lifting;
- Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents
- Ability to report and record maintenance requests
- Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment
- Basic understanding of the upkeep and care of equipment
- Understanding of cleaning compounds and chemicals, and their safe, efficient use
