Discovery Senior Living is looking for a maintenance assistant and driver to join our community Rittenhouse Village at Lehigh Valley

Responsibilities:

Assist with the maintenance of the buildings, grounds, security and mechanical assets of the Community.

Responsible for assisting with the total operation and maintenance of the campus to the high standards of construction.

Conducts inspections on apartments prior to occupancy.

Assist in room turnovers for new residents.

May receive after hours calls for maintenance emergencies when scheduled to be on call.

Follows a comprehensive preventative maintenance program and work order system.

Oversees that all passengers are safely driven from community area to destination according to schedule.

Position is appromoximatly 20 hours a week.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or Bachelors/Technical degree in related field Preferred

HVAC experience or training preferred.

Working knowledge of machinery, tools, repair techniques, plumbing and related repair.

Experience with electrical systems, phone systems, fire panels, emergency response systems and disaster preparedness preferred

Computer skills are a bonus

Ability to handle multiple priorities is a must

Must have a valid driver's license and be 21 or older
