PART TIME TEACHER(S) FOR AFTER SCHOOL ENRICHMENT PROGRAM IN BONSALL

We are looking for fun, smart, and enthusiastic instructors to teach our exciting after-school (AS) enrichment classes with a distinctly island flair in Bonsall/Oceanside. Our programs promote higher-level thinking skills through collaborative project-based, student-driven learning without digital devices. This position is perfect for coaches, teachers (substitute, floater and retired), college or graduate students seeking to supplement income. Teaching experience IS required. Teaching credential is desirable but not required.

We will train qualified instructors in our unique program and teaching philosophy. All supplies and lesson plans are provided. The materials are comprehensive, fun and exciting.

Our teaching positions are highly selective, but if you become part of our team, you’d soon find out that it is very rewarding.

This is a part-time position, currently 3 hours per week (there's one week of only 2 hours). Classes are from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm.

We pay competitively and if you have an elementary-school-aged child, he/she gets to attend our ASEP classes for free.

Requirements:

· Must be passionate about educating children and has experience teaching elementary age children.

· Must have reliable transportation.

· Must live within 10 miles of Bonsall USD schools.

· Must complete Criminal Background Check (Live Scan) and TB Assessment prior to employment.

· Must have proof of COVID-19 vaccination or weekly testing (school district's requirements)

Compensation:

· $40 per class
