Positive Behavioral Solutions is a trauma-informed agency and specializes and serves the Adoption and Foster Care population.

Our PSRs provide hands-on, behavioral health services to clients in the Central Florida area. Our specialty is working with K-12 at-risk youth, but we also provide services to some adults as well. We currently have positions open in Orange County. Clients must be seen in Orlando, FL, including the Sea World and Universal areas and surrounding areas (e.g., 32819, 32821). Our PSRs can work remotely from home and travel to client's homes and in their designated preferred area.

PSR is provided in person, however there is an ability to provide services via teletherapy in response to Covid-19 when deemed appropriate. This is not solely a telehealth position. This is a face to face position in the home and/or community settings.

This position is “Fee-for-Service”, Independently Contracted. Applicant must have dependable transportation, good communication skills, and be able to carry a 5-client case load minimum.

We are currently seeking Psychosocial Rehabilitation Specialists who are willing to see clients located in St. Augustine, FL. PSR specialists must be comfortable with providing services in community settings such as in the home or in various areas of the community to best help the client meet their treatment plan goals. PSRs focus on working with clients to help them build skills in social, independent living, and vocational areas. Activities include but are not limited to food planning and preparation, money management and budgeting, maintenance of the living environment, hygiene, training in the appropriate use of community services, establishing social supports, vocational training, and preparation.

• Preference for candidates proficient in two or more languages.
• Preference for candidates with availability and flexibility to schedule multiple clients leading up to a full-time position.
• Preference for candidates passionate about social services.

Psychosocial Rehabilitation Specialists must meet the following criteria :

• Must have Bachelors level degree in the following areas: Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Criminology, and/or any Social Services field.
• Must have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• PSR schedules and sets their own appointments and provide consistent weekly services.
• Work with clients as well as include families when necessary to best help the client meet their goals.
• PSR establishes rapport/gain trust with assigned clients or families.
• PSR documents client progress follows treatment plan goals, works, and collaborates with mental health therapists as well as anyone involved in the client's treatment.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with leadership staff, administrative team, and other community agencies.
• Comfortable using interventions to help clients meet their treatment plan goals.
• Comfortable working independently.
• Comfortable working with clients 9 years old and over.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures.
