Contract Details:
- Location: Harrisburg, PA 17110
- Setting: Psych/Behavioral Health
- Hours: 36-40 hours per week
- Shift(s): Evenings
- Schedule: TBD. Expect weekend rotations.
- Base Rate: $72.00/hr
- OT Rate: $108.00/hr
- Start: ASAP – Expect 2 weeks for onboarding.
- Contract: 13-26 weeks
Travel pay packages available. Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify
Job Expectations:
- Use basic physical assessment skills and demonstrate ability to care for the patient with a co-existing psychiatric diagnosis.
- Provide knowledgeable, empathetic care of the person requiring treatment.
- Seek methods to improve patient care on an ongoing basis.
- Demonstrate knowledge of regulatory law as it relates to the care of the mentally ill patient.
- Use basic physical assessment skills and demonstrate ability to care for the patient with a co-existing psychiatric diagnosis.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor, which will include cross training to the inpatient psychiatric units with the expectation to float as needed.
Requirements:
- BLS
- Unencumbered PA State RN license
- 1 + year of behavioral health or acute care experience preferred
- COVID Vaccinated - 2 Doses (Pfizer/Moderna) or single J&J
