This role will assist in the responsibilities for the overall support of the Provider Control Unit in Group Dental. The primary focus will be to research and resolve requests and applications relating to dental providers utilizing multiple electronic database files for support of the Dental Product. Responsibilities range from: Researching and analyzing information to handling and correcting discrepancies. Creating and maintaining a positive provider experience and relationships. Responding to telephone and written inquiries from Dental providers, Dental Product, and other external and internal customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Virtual roles predominately work from a home office with periodic visits to the assigned GCSO office as needed for team events, meetings, training, business continuity, etc.
- Reviews, evaluates, and resolves information submitted by varied electronic and paper transmission means from multiple source entities.
- Interacts with multiple internal and external partners.
- Assists providers with inquiries pertaining to the Preferred Dental Program (PDP), EFT and other MetLife sponsored dental solutions
- Routinely interfaces and consults with Dental Providers to resolve issues and concerns.
- Utilizes multiple mainframes, PC, and Internet based systems.
- All other duties as assigned
Essential Business Experience and Technical Skills:
Required:
- New hires should live a commutable distance from the site the role is posted in
- High School Diploma
- 1-3 years of experience in claims or customer service.
Preferred:
- Demonstrated critical thinking in activities requiring analysis, investigation, and/or planning.
- Strong communication skills, both written and oral.

The wage range for applicants for this position is $41,600-49,500 This role is also eligible for annual short-term incentive compensation.
