Position Title: Prosser Campus Facility Manager

Position Status: Non-exempt, Part Time Hourly – 20 hours/week

Responsible to: Prosser Campus Ministry Coordinator

Position Summary:
The Custodial and Facilities Manager is responsible for directing and overseeing maintenance and upkeep of the property and facility at Prosser Campus along with regular custodial duties. This includes both administrative responsibilities in directing volunteers and staff as per the direction of the Prosser Campus Coordinator and custodial duties per the needs of the campus and ministry events. The Custodial and Facilities Manager will maintain a working relationship with Bethel Richland.

• Exhibits traits of a disciple of Jesus. Maintains a mature, always developing walk with the Lord.
• Committed to following the membership covenant of Bethel (or willingness to become one in designated time)

General Qualifications:

• People skills/able to communicate effectively
• Ability to oversee multiple ongoing projects
• Organizational skills
• Self-motivated, flexible and reliable
• Basic knowledge of building maintenance and light construction
• Willing to take direction and able to see tasks that need attention
• Working knowledge of computer programs and use

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Meet on a regular basis with Campus Ministry Coordinator to receive direction and input
• Attend Prosser Campus staff meetings as designated by Prosser Campus Pastor

• Develop a volunteer base and lead volunteers in appropriate maintenance tasks for the campus in accordance with Bethel’s Leadership Pipeline.
• Maintain the grounds of Prosser Campus – in particular lawn maintenance, irrigation functionality, grounds cleanliness.
• Maintain regular cleanliness of the inside of the building – in particular bathrooms, floors, windows, carpets, and hard surfaces.
• Fix minor repairs inside of the campus – in particular, touch up paint, holes or dents in walls, signage
• Maintain and complete building/grounds maintenance (lights, HVAC filters, spray, pasture mowing)
• Set and reset rooms before and after significant events
• Order custodial supplies for campus (soaps, toilet paper, trash bags, etc.)
