What you will be doing:
As Project Manager for a Product Development project, you will manage both new product introduction and product improvement projects. You will use your expertise to lead the project team to ensure the project delivers the expected outputs, outcomes, and benefits.
In addition, your main responsibilities will include:
- Establish the project's objectives with the project executive and relevant stakeholders, focusing on timely delivery of value.
- Use standard project management concepts and techniques in conjunction with the Agile development approach for the project.
- Create and maintain project and delivery plans; make progress transparent.
- Foster an educated decision-making process, manage expectations, and ensure the project team and stakeholders are aligned.
- Assemble the right people, processes, and technologies to help your team be more efficient and productive. Strive to reduce daily waste without compromising quality.

You are best equipped for this role if you have:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in technical engineering, business discipline, or evidence of exceptional experience.
- 3-5 years of relevant project management experience; experience leading product development projects for hybrid hardware/software products is preferred.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and previous experience working in a manufacturing setting are both plusses.
- Experience with Agile methodology and leading agile teams/projects is desired.
- Strong analytical skills: able to visualize and present data to create transparency and foster effective decision making.
- Expertise in computer software, including online project management tools, analytic and financial tools.
- Demonstrate a clear understanding of the fundamentals of effective change management.
