Job Description
- This position would be responsible for maintaining accuracy, timeliness, and profitability of the installation scope of National Door and Trim commercial projects. While the primary focus would be on projects where we own the installation contract (subcontracted), there could be spillover into projects where the installation is performed outside our scope. This individual must be relationship oriented and able to quickly adapt to unexpected situations as they arise. The position would work closely with the internal project managers, project engineers and quality control, who would be handling the material and delivery aspects of the project. Job duties include, but are not limited to:
Responsibilities:
- Maintain project timeliness and coordinate project-specific actions with all stakeholders.
- Attendance (in person or virtual) at site progress meetings.
- Maintain the profitability of the project by limiting mistakes and quality related issues.
- Ensure ND&T and the installers are adhering to policy, procedure, expectations, and all job site
- requirements.
- Develop and maintain progress tracking procedures.
- Develop new and maintain existing customer relationships.
- Develop new and maintain existing installation partner relationships.
- Develop grading system for install partners and parameters for which one to choose when.
- Able to price install.
- Able to install product.
- Able to troubleshoot.
- Able to train/direct others to install.
- Hold effective meetings, both internally and externally, to properly communicate decisions,
- directions and scenarios to project stakeholders.
- Maintain a constant communication with internal stakeholders and customers ensure
- transparency.
- Adhere to and help to improve internal processes for efficient workflow.
Following characteristics/experience preferred, but not required:
- College Degree or experience in the door/hardware/construction industry.
- Experience using Comsense (both Advantage and Enterprise).
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills – both written and verbal.
- Good analytical and mathematical skills.
- Self-motivation.
- Ability to use all applications in the Microsoft Office suite.
- Drive/determination to be a critical piece of a growing organization.
Required:
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
