Position: Construction Coordinator

Duration: 12+ Months (On-going Contract) with possible extension
Location: Huntsville, AL 35810 (ONSITE)
Rate: Open/Market Rate (W2 Only)

Responsibilities include:
REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
** Candidate must have a background either Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, as this will be helpful in understanding the installation of new equipment and codes
** Able to work overtime (20%) as per business requirements

Responsibilities include:
- Helping the team and Manager with equipment installation at a newly constructed production facility.
- Support upcoming Production Engineering Final assembly Projects.
- Support planning for installation of machines and processes related to the new production lines.
- Support construction management of contractors tasked with equipment installation per NFPA.
- Confirm installation quality of machines and processes related to the new / modified production lines.
- Support Production Engineering with the planning and assessment of feasible options for construction related activity.
- Liaison for construction contractor to validate for project management.
- Experienced industry support to younger engineers learning the industry and trades.
REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
** Candidate must have a background either Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, as this will be helpful in understanding the installation of new equipment and codes
- 3+ years of experience with primary Utilities (Electric power/Air / Piping) with equipment
- 3+ years of experience with NFPA70 (NEC) code
- 3+ years of experience managing Union labor
- Project management skills (Work with Vendors/engineers, communicate with management and Customers)
** Able to work overtime (20%) as per business requirements
Desired, Nice To Have's:
- Experience with machine uncrate, installation, setting, leveling,
- Prefer someone with knowledge/experience automobile manufacturing and process equipment
- Some CAD experience is a huge plus (preferred)
- NFPA79 Code experience.
