Savvee Consulting is seeking to hire a Project Manager to provide expert support to our Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) customer, located in Washington, DC. Candidates must be able to provide onsite support with sharp attention to detail and the ability to manage day to day operations for the contract.

This position is contingent upon award of contract.

Essential Functions

• Using Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) training and expertise to oversee HQ OCIO information technology (IT) projects and support services
• Integrating and/or overlapping other best-industry standard methodologies and practices such as; performance management, portfolio management, problem management, process management, business management, financial management, security management, logistics management, and information technology infrastructure library (ITIL) best practices and capability maturity model integration (CMMI) modeling in support of HQ OCIO information technology programs and projects
• Serving as the primary point of contact when interacting with the Contracting Officer (CO), Contracting Officer Representative (COR) and federal executives and managers
• Responding to urgent and normal task-order based data calls
• Producing task order-wide deliverables
• Envisioning, defining, and setting goals and objectives for personnel and technical activities in accordance with OCIO “as-is” and “to-be” environments. Defining and setting goals and objectives ensuring that the future state becomes more defined as the contractor teams progress from requirements to design, build, and deployment
• Ensuring the contractor workforce is aware of OCIO routine and situational project and environmental factors
• Maintaining transparent and direct oversight of the support services requested by the government and performed by the contractor employees to ensure compliance with the Statement of Work (SOW)
• Understanding the organizational policies and procedures for accuracy of solutions and deliverables to the client
• Demonstrating a commitment to quality and customer support
