What does a Project Manager do at Rain the Growth Agency?
Manages complex, multi-discipline projects from inception through completion.
- Ensures that all projects are delivered on time, in-line with client and campaign expectations and within scope of budget
- Extensive experience managing creative projects including digital, social, print, and direct mail. Radio and video a plus.
- Manages agency media activation process and assigns roles and responsibilities to other departments as needed
- Works closely with Client Service on projects to ensure client's needs are met by partnering on creative estimate request forms (CERFs) and assignment briefs (specs)
- Actively monitors and manages client deliverables across agency teams including Brand Strategy & Research, Media Planning and Buying, Analytics, Creative and Production
- Coordinates internal resources ensuring that they are correctly booked and managed
- Creates and maintains project documentation by requesting project codes/job numbers, creating project schedules, creating estimates, providing financial summaries, documenting meeting notes.
- Executes campaign and research deliverables, with an ability to manage constantly shifting priorities and ensure on-time execution
- Manages the timing and receipt of client-provided creative assets
- Archives final creative assets and working files
Fosters continuous communication with team and client on project progress.
- Keeps managers and account leaders apprised of client needs, feedback and updates
- Represents client project priorities in the daily/weekly creative resource meetings.
- Documents meeting notes to capture key actions, decisions and next steps, as needed based on the nature and focus of the meeting (e.g. creative review meetings)
- Keeps the project team up to date of schedule changes or challenges
- Possesses awesome client-facing skills: self-presentation, clear verbal and written communication and the ability negotiate and manage client concerns
What makes a great Project Manager at our agency?
- 3-5 years of experience following structured Project Management Methodologies.
- Prior media agency strongly preferred.
- Understanding of the creative development process, marketing and CRM concepts, brand strategy, digital media landscape, digital technologies, and video production.
- Ability to translate client goals into tangible marketing solutions, using independent strategic thinking, while receiving guidance of senior team members
- Excellent organization and time management skills. Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-moving environment with a tolerance for surprises.
- Ability to build positive, collaborative relationships within your project teams and throughout the agency
- High-level proficiency in Microsoft Office, Smartsheet, and the Google Suite
- Impeccable attention to detail, exceptional organizational and analytical skills
