***Shift/Hrs: Mostly first shift 7am-4pm, occasional 2nd shift may be required***

Job Description

The qualified candidate shall be responsible for site supervision, planning and scheduling activities for large performance contracting guaranteed energy savings projects. Project experience: between 3 to 5 year experience managing construction related projects.

Strong mechanical and HVAC systems knowledge and experience is preferred.
Responsibilities include coordination and scheduling of subcontractors, daily safety checks, oversee project meetings, capture and distribute meeting minutes.
Excellent organizational skills required.

Qualified candidate shall be proficient in Excel, Word, MS Project or Primavera and Outlook. Excellent written and oral communication skills required.

I. Basic Function
On-site Project Manager for large, complex jobs or multiple projects from project development to customer acceptance. Supervises, directs the installation, start-up, commissioning, turnover and warranty of assigned projects. Ensures customer satisfaction during and at final project completion.

II. Essential Duties
Participates in pre-bid reviews and sales to operations turnover meetings to evaluate accuracy of the sales estimate and job layout. Analyzes plans, construction contract specifications and codes to determine project requirements. Plans and coordinates subcontractors and puts together and maintains 3 week look-ahead for upcoming project schedules.

Participates in job site final walk-thru and manages the completion of all close-out documentation such as As-Built drawings and system operating instructions, transfers or excess materials, billings, collections and payments, and all project records.

III. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Associates degree or equivalent with an emphasis in a technical field, mechanical and HVAC knowledge preferred. Bachelors degree preferred.

An understanding of job financial reports and the ability to apply these in managing assigned projects; Strong leadership, listening, verbal and written communication skills.
