We have an exciting opportunity for a
Project Coordinator
at UL Standards & Engagement. The
Project Coordinator independently plans and carries out complex and high-level projects for communications, events and programming for the Stakeholder Engagement division of UL Standards & Engagement (ULSE). The Project Coordinator will work closely with internal and external stakeholders, vendors, and associations to support the design, launch and administration of programs to foster engagement and improve the overall stakeholder experience.

What you’ll learn & achieve::
As the
Project Coordinator, you will play a key role in the rapid growth of UL as you:
- Perform needs analyses to identify areas for study or opportunities for new programs.
- Develop project or program goals and strategies for small to medium size projects.
- Determine methodology and development plans. Develops estimates of cost, time, and resource needs.
- Collect data from a variety of sources, evaluates and interprets data, and draws conclusions. Conduct cost/benefit analyses.
- Prepare and presents reports or program proposals which include recommendations and supporting arguments. May present reports to corporate level audiences.
- Develop and implements processes, information systems, and performance measurement systems.
- Manage program performance by evaluating performance to standards and implementing corrective actions.
- Serve as administrative liaison, both internal and external, regarding event planning and coordination.
- Assist with and support relationship management that will further strengthen the Stakeholder Engagement strategy and programs.
- Assist with meeting and travel arrangements.
- Serve on committees and represents the viewpoint of management.
- Perform other duties as directed.

- Demonstrated ability to independently identify needs for projects or programs, formulate objectives, plan and execute projects and/or programs, and manage programs.
- Basic understanding of project management, event planning and coordination.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to analyze situations, identify existing or potential
- problems and recommend solutions.
- Ability to work independently and proactively and collaborate with others in a fast-paced environment with organization, attention to detail, responsiveness, and accountability.
- Ability to identify and rank priorities as demonstrated by the ability to establish, track, and meet schedules for multiple projects while maintaining high quality and exceptional customer service.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products, specifically PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
Professional education and experience requirements for the role include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field.
- Event planning and coordination experience is preferred.
