Project Coordinator Job at Marine Group Boat Works LLC
Marine Group Boat Works is looking for an project coordinator to be part of its growing team. The project coordinator will work in a fast-paced, highly diversified, successful maritime company. Primary responsibilities will be to coordinate the work involved in repair projects ranging from private, commercial and government vessels, simultaneously working with tradespeople, subcontractors, and customers from start to finish.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Send out RFQs and receive quotes from vendors
- Draft PO requests
- Schedule meetings/book conference room
- Maintain status spreadsheets
- Assemble Power Point presentations
- Maintain PO index
- Write meeting agendas/take minutes
- Draft Reactivation Plan using information from Project Engineer
- Draft Logistics Schedules using information from Project Engineer
- Draft Vendor Recommended Spares Listings using information from Project Engineer
- Draft Outfitting Plan using information from Project Engineer
- Draft Outfitting Material Status Reports using information from Project Engineer
- Draft Warranty Information Book using information from Project Engineer
- Draft Master Packing List using information from Project Engineer
- Draft Integrated Allowance Document using information from Project Engineer
- Assist Project Engineer with deliverable and comment response submittals
- Assist Project Engineer with technical manual submittals
- Draft monthly Progress, Status and Management Reports
- Oversee and prepare photographs of major milestones

Education and/or Experience
- High school diploma required.
- Two-year degree OR a minimum of 1 year of proven experience preferred.
- The ability to demonstrate high proficiency in these areas.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Proficient in MS Office, especially Word, Power Point and Excel.
- Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills are required
- Ability to read and interpret documents and instructions
- Ability to take directions and follow instructions
- Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly
- Ability to work a variety of assignments and locations on a daily or hourly basis
- Strong ability to be reliable, dependable, and work as a team
Language Ability:
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
Reasoning Ability:
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule
Physical Requirements:
