We are currently seeking to identify an experienced and well-rounded Project Coordinator.
Job Responsibilities/Duties:
As the OJJDP NTTAC Project Coordinator, you will work closely with project leadership to provide support around project operations and administrative tasks. In this role, you will work across project tasks, including but not limited to supporting team operations and administrative functions; providing support to webinars and virtual (or in-person) meetings/events; supporting outreach and dissemination efforts; assisting with the help desk and special projects; and providing support for a virtual TTA request system.
- Provide a variety of administrative support across all project tasks to streamline processes, create synergy, and improve the efficiency of TTA provision; and provide recommendations or suggestions for process improvements.
- Work with various members of the project team to create timelines and schedules and oversee progress to make sure goals are met on time.
- Support the team’s research and evaluation efforts and assist with tasks as needed, including conducting analysis, and responding to client data calls.
- Assist with project operations, including but not limited to ensuring the timely processing of consultant paperwork, invoices, and/or the creation of subcontract agreements.
- Work closely with the TTA Manager to assist with hosting online meetings, listening sessions, or webinars monthly in support of OJJDP’s TTA Provider Network and OJJDP staff in their efforts to provide training and technical assistance to the field. This role will encompass managing various aspects of planning, hosting, facilitating, and promoting these OJJDP and OJJDP-funded online meetings and webinars including using OJJDP’s webinar platform, WebEx.
- Collaborate with the TTA Manager on the delivery of events and conferences, assisting OJJDP with hosting events or conferences, which includes duties such as securing event space and AV equipment, providing travel arrangements for speakers, developing agendas, event marketing, etc.
- Serve as the project marketing lead by working in consultation with OJJDP and existing vendors on marketing and outreach activities used to promote OJJDP’s TTA services, events and webinars, and other OJJDP TTA-related activities and resources.
- Coordinate marketing and outreach efforts with the TTA Provider network and OJJDP staff.
- Leverage OJJDP’s current dissemination vehicles as communication tools (e.g., OJJDP’s website, JUVJUST listserv, OJJDP’s official social media, OJJDP’s News @ a Glance newsletter, etc.)
- Develop, review, ensure approval of, and properly disseminate information related to OJJDP’s TTA events and resources of interest to OJJDP’s TTA stakeholders.
- Maintain knowledge of national youth trends and initiatives, the organizations and individuals actively leading the juvenile justice field, and current research on evidence-based practices and programs.
- Support special projects around emerging juvenile justice initiatives identified by the client.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
- Potential travel: TBD.
Qualifications:
- The selected employee must successfully pass the government security background investigation. (required)
- 2-3 years of relevant experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
