About the Position
The primary function of the Project Associate is to provide general project management and business development support to the Governance Division of Dexis Consulting Group (Dexis). The Project Associate will assist in the management of projects and proposals, and engage in day-to-day project activities, coordination, and administrative support in a flexible, dynamic work environment. The selected candidate is expected to communicate clearly and efficiently and will develop and maintain positive relationships both internally and externally.

The selected candidate will be expected to communicate clearly, possess excellent writing skills, manage multiple competing priorities, and be a self-starter.
Responsibilities
- Provides contractual, operational, financial, and administrative support to Governance Division projects.
- Coordinates closely with project team(s) and internal support units, including Contracts, Finance, Payroll, Human Resources, IT, and Recruiting teams.
- Manages electronic files to ensure compliance with Dexis protocols and policies.
- Edits and formats project reports for internal and external use.
- Supports recruitment and onboarding of project staff and consultants.
- Supports consultant management for various project assignments including preparing agreements, supporting travel and logistics, and reviewing expense reports.
- Prepares payment requests, reviews financial transactions, and tracks project budgets.
- Supports business development efforts, including recruiting, coordinating with proposal teams, and contributing to budget development.
- Trouble-shoots common problems, escalates more complex issues, and follows up until resolved.
- Supports procurement efforts in both technical and operational areas, utilizing Dexis' procurement systems and ensures compliance with USAID and Dexis regulations.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in international relations, political science, business, or related field.
- Interest in international affairs
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to multi-task and prioritize.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Fluency in Spanish – required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
- Ability to travel internationally up to 5% of the time.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1 year of work or internship experience in international development or relevant field
