Aston Carter is Partnered with a company located in Painesville, OH who is seeking a Project Accountant!

Description:

• Responsible for maintaining project data within Project Cost System (PCS)
• Initiates invoicing to clients, revenue forecasts, and monthly budget modifications for purposes of monthly revenue recognition
• Meets weekly with Operational Groups to obtain data for updates in PCS
• Various project analyses—postmortem analysis of closed projects
• Assistance in various aspects of monthly financial closing, as needed by CFO
• Maintain construction ledgers for capital assets
• Handle all transactions in Sage Fixed Assets

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance is desired
• Really only need 6 months + experience within an accounting role ( the position truly is an entry level role)
• Analytical aptitude and mindset- they want someone that can figure out the root cause of an issue
• Advanced Microsoft Excel
• Knowledge of Sage 100 Financial Systems & Sage Fixed Assets a plus but not required
