Programmer Analyst Job at Afognak Native Corporation
The Programmer Analyst position will be primarily responsible for developing and maintaining custom software, software integration, and data analysis. This position will also assist in creating reports and dashboards using PowerBI. A strong focus on software development, reporting, business intelligence dashboarding, automation, process improvement, and software integration.
- Work in cross-functional teams to gather and document software and reporting requirements.
- Work with various departments to identify areas of process analysis and recommend improvements.
- Design, develop and validate reports.
- Create and maintain software applications with MSSQL backend.
- Assist in the creation of dashboards for business intelligence.
- Work with financial systems, ERP, and other related systems for reporting needs.
- Plan, prioritize, and schedule projects to ensure that business needs are met promptly.
- Support and maintain existing reports, software, and databases.
- Perform other duties as assigned in support of team efforts and results.
- Maintain and create API integration with core business systems.
- Develop and distribute support documentation for applications, software patches, and reports.
- Respond to all support ticket requests within the time frame outlined in our IT support policies.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent field
- Minimum three years of work history in relevant data modeling, software engineering, data analysis, reporting, or integration environments.
- Strong background in database development, relational databases, and data analysis required
- Experience writing and optimizing SQL queries
- Strong Experience and working knowledge of Data Modeling, SQL, T-SQL, Python, ERP systems, report writing, and dashboarding.
- Proficiency in analyzing data with Excel and other data analytical tools
- Preferred Experience: PowerBI, SQL (SSMS), Azure, DAX, tabular data, and process analysis
- Other Development Tools: GitHub, DevOps, Visual Studio, Tabular Editor
- Professional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a face-paced environment and solve complex problems
- C#, Python, JavaScript a plus.
